  • Vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

✨ Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 1 tablespoon molasses

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (adjust to taste)

  • Pinch of nutmeg

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Small pinch of salt

🥄 Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together cocoa powder, molasses, brown sugar, and spices with 2–3 tablespoons of the milk to form a smooth paste.

  2. Turn the heat to medium and slowly whisk in the rest of the milk.

  3. Heat until warm and steamy, stirring often. Don’t boil.

  4. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and salt.

💡 Tip:

If you want a deeper chocolate flavor, add a few dark chocolate chips in step 2. The molasses gives this drink its gingerbread character, so don’t skip it.
